My name is Joanna Cook, and I am a senior at Tri-Center High School. I am the Vice President of my FFA chapter, Treasurer of my FBLA chapter, and involved in Student Council, NHS and the Minden Monarch 4-H club. I also enjoy playing softball and golf.

My favorite fair food is a corn dog! One of the things I am most excited about during my time as queen is connecting with the citizens of West Pottawattamie County and making a positive impact in my community.

Some of my favorite fair traditions are watching the queen coronation and getting watermelon from Farm Bureau on Saturday.

If I could tell a younger 4-H member one thing, it would be to take advantage of every opportunity 4-H gives you. You never know who those opportunities will lead you to or how much they will impact your future.
